Celebrating Academic Excellence

Celebrating Academic Excellence

Alberta Female Junior Hockey League

At the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League (AJFHL), success isn’t just measured in goals, saves, and wins. It’s also about the discipline, dedication, and drive our athletes demonstrate beyond the rink. That’s why we are proud to highlight the outstanding achievements of our players through the AJFHL Scholastic Achievement Award.

About the Award
Launched last season, the AJFHL Scholastic Achievement Award recognizes players who embody the true spirit of student-athletes—those who excel in their academic pursuits while maintaining their competitive edge on the ice.

To be eligible, players must:

✅ Be enrolled in full-time studies
✅ Maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA during the 2024–2025 academic year

Top achievers are selected for this honour, with the three highest-performing athletes receiving a shared cash prize of $2,000 in recognition of their efforts.

Congratulations to Our 2024–2025 Academic Standouts!
