The 2025 AJFHL All-Star Game was a thrilling showcase of talent, bringing together the league’s finest players for a day filled with intense competition and incredible performances. The event, which featured a highly anticipated skills competition followed by an action-packed game, was a true celebration of the best the league has to offer.

AJFHL Skills Competition Highlights:
The day started with the annual skills competition, where players demonstrated their incredible abilities in various events. Here are the standout performances from this year's competition:
  • Player Passing Challenge: Jessica Hay from Sherwood Park Steele took the win with impressive accuracy and precision.


 
  • Fastest Skater: Hailey McAvena of the Fort Saskatchewan Fury showed off her speed, clocking in as the fastest skater of the competition.


 
  • Accuracy Shooting: Teah Workman from the Cochrane Chaos displayed pinpoint accuracy, hitting her targets with ease.


 
  • Hardest Shot: Kassie Lewis of the Calgary Titans fired a shot with blistering power, claiming the hardest shot of the night.


 
  • Goalie Passing Challenge: Elizabeth Campbell from Cochrane Chaos excelled in the goalie passing challenge, showcasing her puck-handling skills.


 
  • One-on-One Player Challenge: Natalie Buttle of the Edmonton Wolves displayed incredible skill in the one-on-one challenge, taking home the win.
 
  • One-on-One Goalie Challenge: Brooke Fawcett of the Edmonton Wolves and Mariyah Albers of the Fort Saskatchewan Fury tied for the title, both putting on stellar performances in the crease.



All-Star Game Recap:
After the skills competition, all eyes were on the much-anticipated All-Star game. In a back-and-forth battle, the North and South teams fought hard for the victory. After regulation ended with a 3-3 tie, the game went into overtime, where the North pulled ahead for a thrilling 4-3 victory.
The game was a perfect showcase of AJFHL talent, with players leaving it all on the ice in an exciting and fast-paced matchup.
