We are excited to announce the 4th Annual Mental Health Memorial Game, hosted by the Lethbridge Eagles, taking place on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Nicholas Sheran Arena. This meaningful event brings together the hockey community to raise awareness and support for mental health initiatives.
A Legacy of Impact
Over the past three years, the Mental Health Memorial Game has raised more than $40,000, directly benefiting local mental health programs and providing essential resources to support the mental well-being of our athletes. This incredible achievement underscores the power of a community coming together for a cause that affects us all.
The origins of this event trace back to February 2021, when the Eagles community experienced a profound loss with the passing of former player Emily Middagh, who battled mental health challenges. In her honour, the Eagles hosted the inaugural Mental Health Memorial Game to spark vital conversations and offer support to those in need. Emily’s fierce determination, love for hockey, and enduring spirit inspire this annual tradition.
